Writing

"Politics is good medicine, but is like a bitter pill that no one likes to swallow, because once you take it, you become responsible for changing society. Through our art we can sugar coat the pill so that people can more easily swallow the politics."

-Me (How's that for egotistical, quoting myself?!?)

I used to think that I was going to write the Great American Novel. I even started writing one but put it down a few years back. Who knows, maybe I'll pick it up sometime soon. It's a matter of getting the time to do so, however. We'll see.

Some people say I'm a good writer. I think it may be one of my stronger skills, but the thing that really puts it over the top is if I'm writing about something that is meaningful to me. Something that matters.

Well, in the pages of this section, I've put archives of some of my writing so you can see for yourself. There are op-eds that are political in nature, poetry, rants from The World Is Yours!, features, and of course, my blog.

Maybe sometime, soon I'll try my hand at writing longer fiction pieces again. If so, I'll post them in the features section. In any case, enjoy.
